The Social EMU ("we", "our", "us", or "the platform") operated by SlothMania, LLC ("the company") uses a credit-based system to unlock features and functionality on the platform.

Credits are used for actions such as creating events, using AI-powered features, and adding items or guests beyond included limits. Some actions are free and do not require credits.

Credits used during beta features may be calculated inaccurately and are non-refundable. We do not guarantee correct credit tracking or reimbursement during beta periods.

Credits help us:

  • Keep pricing simple and predictable
  • Offer generous free usage
  • Invest in improving our AI and creative tools

How Credits Work

  • Credits may be included with every plan
  • Credits are consumed when certain features are used
  • Credit usage varies by feature and is displayed in-app
  • Credits refresh at the specified rate per plan (typically on the 1st of the month or plan renewal date)
  • Awarded and plan-based credits are subject to a maximum balance cap per plan and do not roll over beyond the cap
  • Credit cap amounts vary by plan and are detailed on our Pricing page

What Are Credits?

Credits are a virtual unit used within the platform to unlock features such as:

  • Creating events
  • Using AI-powered planning tools
  • Adding items or guests beyond included limits
  • Generating premium content

Credits help us balance system usage while giving you flexibility in how you plan your events.

How Credits Are Awarded

Credits may be awarded/granted through:

  • Free plans
  • Beta programs
  • Promotional offers
  • Referrals

Credits are typically added on a monthly basis and are subject to a maximum balance cap, depending on your plan. See our Pricing page for specific credit cap amounts per plan.

Unused credits do not accumulate beyond the plan's cap.

How Credits Are Used

Different features consume different amounts of credits. Credit costs may vary depending on:

  • Feature type (manual vs AI-powered)
  • Usage volume
  • Plan level

Current credit costs are always displayed in the app at the time of use. Credit costs may change at any time without prior notice.

No Cash Value

Credits:

  • Have no cash value
  • Are not a currency or stored value
  • Cannot be redeemed for money or monetary equivalents
  • Credits exist solely to enable features within The Social EMU (the platform).

Non-Transferable & Non-Refundable

Credits are:

  • Non-transferable (cannot be shared, sold, or gifted between accounts)
  • Non-refundable, including unused credits

If your account is closed, suspended, or expires, any remaining credits are forfeited, except as required by applicable law.

Pricing & Credit Changes

SlothMania, LLC reserves the right to update the platform including, but not limited to:

  • Adjust credit costs for features
  • Modify how credits are earned or consumed
  • Change plan limits, caps, or availability
  • Introduce, remove, or modify paid offerings
  • Change credit refresh rates or amounts

We reserve the right to make these changes at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing model.

Beta Services

Certain features of the Platform may be offered in beta, preview, or early access form ("Beta Services"). Beta Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We make no representations or warranties that Beta Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or meet your requirements. Functionality, features, pricing, usage limits, and credit calculations may change at any time, and data associated with Beta Services may be lost or deleted.

Credits used during beta features may be calculated inaccurately and are non-refundable. We do not guarantee correct credit tracking or reimbursement during beta periods.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and liability arising from or related to the use of Beta Services.

Abuse & Fair Use

We may limit or revoke credits if we detect:

  • Abuse of the system
  • Attempts to bypass usage limits
  • Automated or fraudulent activity

This helps keep the platform fair and reliable for everyone.

Dispute Resolution

If you believe credits were incorrectly deducted, contact support@slothmania.com within 30 days of the transaction. We will investigate and, if an error is found, restore the credits. This policy does not apply to beta features, which may have inaccurate credit calculations as stated in the Beta Services section.
